Everything was great, accommodating staff, incredible location really close to wahiba sands, sandy desert and transport to the safari. Nicely decorated room overall, with 3 beds. Plenty of goodies for breakfast. Excellent experience there.

The hospitality was exceptional, with kind and understanding hosts. They even arranged transport for us as our vehicles were not 4x4. Our yurt-like hut was tastefully decorated and had a large double-bed with mosquito cover. the outdoor bathroom and roof terrace added to the unique experience. The food was excellent and the views were breathtaking, especially during the camel ride to the open desert and watching the sunset. Cons: No complaints at all. 👌.

The location was absolutely stunning, with beautiful sand dunes and a breathtaking sunrise. The camel ride experience was also amazing, giving us a unique opportunity to explore the desert landscape. the buffet dinner provided delicious food, showcasing the local cuisine and flavors.
The camp lacked proper maintenance and refurbishment. Our room had a difficult-to-open bathroom door, forcing us to use another tent's facilities.

We had an unforgettable experience in the middle of the desert! The hotel facilities were fantastic, with several cozy areas to spend time with loved ones. We enjoyed playing board games and having a campfire after a delicious buffet-style dinner. Additionally, we were impressed with the cleanliness of the chalets, and the staff were extremely hospitable and welcoming.
No issues.

The desert location was breathtaking, and the staff was friendly. We were welcomed with a warm drink and offered a tasty local snack. the room was spacious, cozy, and had nice decorations, including an outdoor shower with a view of the starry sky.
The food was a big disappointment. There were very few options, and the dishes lacked flavor.

The location of the camp was absolutely stunning. The beauty of the desert was mind-blowing. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and excellent facilities. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, always with a smile. It was a unique experience with no internet or modern comforts, but that's what made it so special. The sunrise and sunset views were jaw-dropping. We were impressed by the extraordinary hospitality and understanding hosts who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Spent Xmas at a desert camp in Oman and it was unforgettable! The location was perfect, right in the middle of the desert, away from everything. The camel ride at sunset was breathtaking and the traditional Omani food served was delicious. But what I enjoyed the most was the silence, no phone signal, no internet, just nature, the sound of the wind and the stars at night. And the best part was that it was all affordable, great value for money!
The only negative aspect was the drive to get there, a bit off-road and bumpy, so if you are prone to car sickness, beware. But other than that, no major complaints. The bathroom could have been cleaner but it was definitely bearable. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a unique and authentic desert adventure.

Although there was no hot water, it's understandable considering the location in the middle of the desert.

I recently stayed at a lovely campsite about 30 minutes south of Biyaddin, called Safari Desert Camp. It was the perfect place for a desert experience. The camp is located on a remote desert track, far away from other camps. The staff led us to the camp and we could even drive our own rental 4x4. The camp is in a beautiful and secluded location, with the option to ride camels and enjoy coffee and homemade bread with Bedouins before dinner. The huts were spacious, with Western toilets and showers. The Indian host was a delight to chat with after dinner, sharing his 17 years of living in Oman and immersing himself in the desert. I highly recommend this camp to anyone looking for a unique desert experience.
I can recommend this hotel.
